The Winchester Ambulance Department is comprised of volunteers who have taken National Registry Emergency Medical Technician courses. Our ambulance department responds to calls within the Town of Winchester, including Ashuelot and also to surrounding communities if requested under mutual aid agreements. We respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year including holidays. We contract with DiLuzio Ambulance Service out of Keene for Paramedic intercept for calls that require advanced Life Saving (ALS) skills that our EMT-Basics and EMT-Intermediates are not trained (or
licensed) to perform. Our department currently has two ambulances: 40A1 which is a 2003 Ford E450 chassis box ambulance and 40A2 is a 1993 Ford mini-mod box ambulance.
We are always looking for motivated individuals who are interested in joining our ranks and becoming an EMT. If you, or anyone you know might be, please do not hesitate to check out our website and contact us! Experience is not necessary.
