On Monday June 9th, Forest Lake will be treated with aquatic herbicide to eliminate milfoil . Aquatic Control Technologies, the company handling the treatment for the DES will post some portions of the lake with a swimming ban for 7 days, through June 16th. According to project manager Marc Bellaud, the area being treated this year is much smaller and fewer waterfront areas will be posted as a result.
