THE NH HOMEOWNER ASSISTANCE FUND WILL CLOSE FOR APPLICATIONS ON MARCH 8, 2024

The federally funded New Hampshire Homeowner Assistance Fund (NH HAF) program will stop accepting applications in five days when funding for the program is anticipated to be fully reserved. Please encourage anyone who might benefit from this program to submit their application today!

Applications will be accepted until Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM. Applications will be held on a wait list and reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis until all funds have been distributed. Applicants on our wait list will receive communications regarding the status of their application.  

Encourage those who may need assistance not to wait and submit their application today!

The NH Homeowner Assistance Fund covers:

Mortgage Loan Reinstatement - maximum benefit $40,000*

Property Charges (taxes, HOA, lot rent, etc.) - maximum benefit $40,000*

Utility Payment Assistance (natural gas, electric, water/sewer, etc.) - maximum benefit $5,000*

*Total maximum assistance per household is $40,000

Applications will continue to be processed until all funds are disbursed. Notices will go out when the NH Homeowner Assistance Fund is no longer issuing payments.
