The Winchester Economic Development Corporation invites sealed bis for the construction of the Stone Mountain Business Park road and associated work in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by SVE Associates, 439 West River Road, Brattleboro, VT. Project No. K2668 Stone Mountain Business Park - to include: construction of road (1,700 lf), and improvements including excavation, grading, base course, sanitary sewer (1,740 lf), storm sewer, 12” diameter water main (1815 lf), curb, asphalt paving, approximately 1,800 lf overhead power and restoration of the work area. The project also includes sewer and water extensions, and other miscellaneous items in conformance with the Contract Documents
Sealed bids will be received by the Winchester Economic Development Corporation at the Winchester Town Offices at 1 Richmond Road, Winchester until 4:00 pm local time, May 1st, 2020, and then publicly opened and read aloud. An EJCDC C-430 Bid Bond is required, equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid payable to the OWNER. All Bids shall also be accompanied with EJCDC Bid Form C-410. Prequalification of Bidders will not be required. The Contract Documents will be available for purchase after noon on April 13, 2020 from GemGraphics, 415 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH. The purchase price is the cost of reproduction and is non-refundable. Please call GemGraphics in advance, 603-325-7112. All contractors must have purchased a set of plans in order for their bids to be considered. The Winchester Economic Development Corporation reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all Bids.
The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. The Offeror’s or Bidder’s attention is called to the “Equal Opportunity Clause” and the “Standard Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract Specification” included in the specifications. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids may be funded in part by a grant from the Economic Development Administration. All Surety Companies must be listed on the Treasury Circular 570 and all winning bidders must be registered with SAM.gov and must not appear on the excluded parties list.
